How It Started

Hamzah and I started playing padel and got hooked fast. After a few months of sharing whatever rental rackets were available at the court, rackets that had seen better days and, frankly, smelled like it, we decided it was time to get our own. Simple enough, or so we thought.

The Problem With Buying Padel Gear in Bangladesh

The options were limited. The few stores carrying padel equipment had high prices, thin selections, and most didn't even hold stock. Order from them, and they'd order from abroad after the fact. Weeks of waiting for gear that should be a same-week purchase. Bringing it in yourself from another country wasn't much better. For a sport that was clearly growing in Dhaka, the infrastructure around it hadn't caught up.

Where Ace Came From

Hamzah and I were on a phone call complaining about this exact problem when we both landed on the same idea at the same time: just start it ourselves. Stock the gear properly, price it fairly, and actually be present in the community we were already part of. That call is where Ace Sporting Goods started.

What We're Here to Do

We want to be the go-to padel store in Bangladesh. Not just for the gear, but as a brand that's genuinely involved in the sport. Showing up at courts in Dhaka, supporting the community, and making sure players at every level have access to proper equipment without the wait or the markup.
